At GAIA we act for companies and sole traders in disputes, whether the business is bringing a claim or defending one.
We handle both court proceedings and matters resolved outside court, and we set the strategy at the outset rather than as the case develops. Every matter gets a proper assessment first: what the claim is worth, what the exposure is, and whether litigation is the right route at all.
Disputes are disruptive and expensive, and the commercial answer is not always the legal one. What we offer is a clear view of the position and a team that will see the matter through to its conclusion.
Court proceedings
We represent businesses and sole traders in commercial disputes before the courts, including claims for payment, breach of contract and civil liability.
We build the strategy around the specific case, assess the risks honestly at the start, and argue the company's position in court.
Debt recovery and commercial disputes
We pursue unpaid debts and financial claims, using whichever route is best suited to the case and the counterparty.
We also act in disputes arising from commercial relationships and contracts. Litigation is one option among several, and often not the fastest or the cheapest. Where a negotiated resolution serves the business better, we will say so.
Enforcement of judgments
Winning is not the same as being paid. Where a judgment goes in your favour, we act in the enforcement stage to make sure it is complied with.
That is what turns a favourable decision into money or assets actually recovered, which is the only outcome that matters commercially.
